Black-Eyed Susans is a beach casual restaurant & tavern located in Harvey Cedars opened by chef partners Ashley Pellagrino & Christopher Sanchez.

A casual dining concept with a rotating menu of artisan pizzas, house-made pastas, fresh seafood, salads and shareable items. Our food is both highly creative and very approachable. We create menus based on seasonally available ingredients, much of which are sourced from local farms, distributors, and fishermen. We believe that the best food is grown locally and with respect for the environment, so we've spent the past 15 years building relationships with farmers and fishermen who fit the bill! We use many organic ingredients, sustainably caught fish and seafood, and pasture raised meats.

Our wines are thoughtfully chosen to provide customers with incredible values. We have a certified level II sommelier on staff who strives to present our guests with unique and delicious wines that accompany our cuisine. Our cocktails are simple and well-executed, utilizing fresh ingredients and thoughtfully selected spirits in order to create delicious drinks to be enjoyed on their own or with our food.

We are open Wednesday - Saturday beginning at 4:00PM for dinner.

Reservations are released one month in advance at the first of every month beginning at 9:00AM on RESY. The largest party we accommodate for a standard reservation is 8 guests. Parties larger than 8 are invited to reserve our upstairs dining room as a private event space. by filling out the inquiry form on the bottom of our website.

Our reservations team is available for assistance Wednesday-Saturday beginning at 2:00PM by calling 609-494-4990.

If a reservation is not available, please stop by and we’ll be happy to add your name to the waitlist for walk-in tables. Bar seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our restaurant is generally not the best environment for young children. We welcome families but ask parents to keep children at the table and calm vocal infants or youngsters outside of the dining room. We do not offer child seating, nor do we allow strollers in the dining room.

Credit card transactions are subject to a 2.99% service fee.

From Milestone Moments To Casual Gatherings

We welcome groups larger than 8 guests to celebrate and gather in our second floor dining room which also acts as our private event space when not being used for standard dining. The space features a private bar, dining areas and lounge seating.

Our second floor dining room offers seating for up to 45 guests with the ability to acoomodate receptions for up to 60 guests. Groups exceeding 60 guests require a full buy-out of our first and second floor dining areas.

Our first floor dining room is available for private events that conclude before 3:00PM or take place on days that we are closed.

We do not offer events in our outdoor dining areas.
